We are looking for a charismatic Bartender to shake things up with us as part of the team at The Hoxton, Holborn in our Apartment space.

What you'll do...

  • Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests come to wind down and enjoy themselves
  • Make whatever the mood calls for, from soft drinks to masterful cocktails that change with the seasons
  • Know your product & systems inside out
  • Work with the rest of the team in keeping things running smoothly and tidily, for both table and bar service
  • Shake, stir and serve up classic favourites and creative cocktails that keep guests coming back for “just one more”
  • Make every guest feel right at home with warm service, good vibes, and a welcoming atmosphere
  • Keep cool when the bar gets buzzing, handling busy services and high-volume events like a pro
  • Handle payments smoothly and keep tabs on the tills, because nobody likes mystery maths at the end of the night
  • Keep the bar looking sharp, stocked up, and ready for whatever the shift throws your way
  • Stay on top of hygiene and health & safety standards without killing the vibe

Qualifications

  • Previous bartending and particularly cocktail making experience
  • Previous experience working in busy, fast-paced bar environments, events, or hospitality venues
  • A natural people person – you’re confident behind the bar and brilliant with guests
  • You’re looking for a place where you can be you; no clones in suits here
  • Passion for hospitality – you’re all about creating memorable experiences for others, be they guests or colleagues
  • You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get things done
  • You’re up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once
