LOCATION: Ross-on-Wye, Hereford (HR9)

SALARY: £14.05 - £14.75 per hour

SHIFTS: 21:00pm - 7:00am - 3 nights per week

HOURS: 35 hours per week

ABOUT CHEPSTOW HOUSE: Based in Ross-on-Wye, the house can accommodate up to 13 residents with a range of needs including autism, learning disability, dementia and ABI. We deliver end‑of‑life care and work closely with local district nursing to support residents to die with dignity and respect. Families receive emotional support and quality time opportunities. Full training and staff support are provided. Residents enjoy a quiet, calm environment and participate in activities such as cinema, bowling, eating out, shopping, as well as day trips to zoos, seaside visits, museums, baking, gardening, arts and crafts, musical movement and karaoke.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitoring: Observe residents during the night to ensure safety and well‑being.
  • Providing support: Assist with night‑time care routines when required.
  • Responding to emergencies: Manage any incidents that arise during the night.
  • Maintaining a calm environment: Foster a peaceful atmosphere for all residents.
  • Assisting with light domestic tasks: Tidy and clean communal areas as needed.
  • Recording incidents: Document changes in residents’ conditions accurately.
  • Working independently: Maintain vigilance and attention to detail throughout the shift.
