ROLE: Female Support Worker

LOCATION: Carisbrook Drive, Winsford (CW7)

SALARY: £13.45 - £14.05* per hour

HOURS: 35 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS: Full UK Manual Driving License – essential. Please note we require a Female Support Worker over the age of 18 due to a genuine occupational requirement for the people we are supporting, making this position exempt from the gender discrimination rule.

About Carisbrook Drive:

Carisbrook is a supported living service for three Females aged between 26 and 62. The people we support have complex support needs including learning difficulties, autism, dementia, PTSD, and communication needs. They require support with day‑to‑day living skills to help build their independence, structured routines, and meaningful engagement in a person‑centred way. Full training is provided to staff to ensure active support is delivered in line with the people we support’s needs and preferences.

Responsibilities:

  • Day‑to‑day support and routine of the people we support.
  • Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
  • Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills, and shopping.
  • Assisting with personal care as required.
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
  • Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
