Purpose of the Role: To lead and coordinate the provision for pupils with SEND, ensuring that all pupils receive personalised, high-quality support that enables them to achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the identification, assessment, and monitoring of pupils with SEND.
- Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans and Education, Health and Care Plans.
- Ensure statutory compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and other relevant legislation.
- Coordinate and deliver training for staff on SEND strategies, differentiation, and inclusive teaching.
- Monitor the progress and wellbeing of pupils with SEND and adapt provision accordingly.
Requirements:
- QTS
- SENDCO accreditation (or willingness to undertake it)
- Proven experience coordinating SEND provision in a complex educational setting.
- Deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, statutory requirements, and inclusive education.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and support staff in delivering high-quality SEND provision, modelling the Staff Code of Conduct.
- Ability to develop and implement effective SEND strategies and monitor impact.
- Strong interpersonal skills with staff, pupils, parents, and external professionals.
