ROLE: Senior Support Worker

LOCATION: Ferndown (BH22)

SALARY: £15.00 per hour

About Church Road:

Church Road is a brand-new service having recently opened in Ferndown. At Church Road we provide accommodation and support for up to 8 adults with Acquired Brain Injuries or Neurological Conditions. We will also work closely with people placed on Rehabilitation focused placements supported by Neuro therapists; Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech & Language Therapy and Neuro Psychology, to aid people in their recoveries.

Our multidisciplinary team will undertake a thorough assessment prior to any admission, working closely with the individual, their family, carers and other health care professionals to identify their goals and aspirations and create an individually tailored support plan.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:

  • Managing a team of Support Workers
  • Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans
  • Encouraging good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
  • Accurately reporting, recording and maintaining records as required and working to care plans
  • Liaising with health professionals and their families
  • Completing supervisions and audits
  • Ensuring that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development.
