As part of their continued expansion, they are now developing an in-house digital function to drive long-term, sustainable growth. This role is a key step in strengthening their digital capability and enhancing their national online presence.
The Role
They are seeking an experienced SEO & Digital Growth Manager to lead, manage and optimise their organic and paid digital performance. Working closely with the business owner and internal teams, you will be responsible for implementing strategies that directly improve visibility, traffic quality, conversion rates and overall revenue. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who is commercially driven, technically strong and looking to play a central role in building an in-house performance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, own and execute the full SEO strategy, including technical SEO, on-page optimisation and content planning.
- Manage and contribute to PPC activity (Google Ads, Shopping, Meta), working autonomously or alongside external support.
- Analyse performance data to improve ROAS, conversion rates and user engagement across key channels.
- Support and help coordinate digital PR, outreach and backlink acquisition campaigns.
- Collaborate with developers to drive continual website enhancements (SEO, CRO and UX).
- Produce clear, commercially focused reports on traffic, rankings and revenue impact.
- Identify opportunities for new growth channels and relevant optimisation initiatives.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong, proven experience in SEO-either agency or in-house-with a track record of delivering measurable growth.
- Good working knowledge of PPC platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and an understanding of how SEO and PPC work together.
- Demonstrable ability to interpret data, identify trends and make commercially sound recommendations.
- Experience in ecommerce environments and familiarity with key ecommerce metrics (AOV, conversion rate, ROAS, etc.).
- Strong technical understanding (site health, crawls, indexing, schema, speed optimisation).
- Ability to create and execute content strategies aligned to commercial goals.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and take full ownership of digital performance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to work directly with senior decision-makers.
- A long-term mindset, suited to an in-house, growing business rather than a short-term or freelance engagement.
What Our Client Offers
- Full ownership of the SEO and digital growth strategy.
- Direct access to decision-makers and the ability to influence business direction.
- Autonomy to implement meaningful change, supported by budget where appropriate.
- Career progression as the digital function expands.
- Bonus / profit-sharing opportunities.
- A friendly, relaxed working environment.
