We are seeking an experienced PAYE Umbrella Account Manager to join a growing payroll and umbrella services provider. This role is ideally suited to a knowledgeable payroll professional who enjoys managing key accounts, building long-term client relationships, and delivering a consistently high standard of service in a fast-paced environment.
As a key member of the payroll team, you will take ownership of recruitment agency partnerships and associated contractor accounts, acting as a trusted advisor on PAYE, umbrella payroll, and compliance matters. Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary point of contact for recruitment agency partners and associated contractor accounts
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to ensure high satisfaction and retention
- Act as a trusted advisor on PAYE and umbrella payroll processes
- Provide accurate, timely, and compliant guidance on PAYE payroll and umbrella services
- Support contractors with onboarding, payroll queries, and ongoing account management
- Ensure adherence to HMRC legislation, IR35 requirements, and payroll compliance standards
- Maintain accurate records in line with regulatory and internal governance requirements
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and enhance service delivery
- Work collaboratively with internal payroll, compliance, and operations teams
- Deliver a professional, end-to-end service experience for agencies and contractors
- Proven experience in PAYE payroll and umbrella services would be beneficial
- Strong working knowledge of HMRC regulations, IR35, and payroll compliance
- Experience managing recruitment agency and contractor accounts
