JOB ROLE: Wake Night Support Worker

LOCATION: Kewstoke, Weston-super-Mare (BS22)

SALARY: £13.20 - £13.90* per hour

HOURS: 24 - 46 hours per week.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Wake Night Support Worker to join our team at Sandpiper, Kewstoke!

About Sandpiper

Sandpiper provides a specialist approach for six people with acquired brain injuries, learning disabilities and autism. We offer sector‑leading training and coaching to help our staff level up and further their career through new key skills and a variety of excellent qualifications, which can lead to a vast range of progression opportunities within the social care sector. Many of our Regional and Service Managers joined us as Support Workers and continue to move up the career ladder through ongoing training and coaching.

Responsibilities

  • Prompt people we support to live an independent, fulfilling life.
  • Support and encourage the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintain and help with health‑care needs, including accompanying service users to routine appointments or administering medication.
  • Teach life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
  • Assist with personal care, depending on the individual.
  • Assist with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
