Ashcombe Court supports an 8‑bedded home for Mental Health, Autism, Acquired Brain Injury and Learning Disabilities, providing everyday living skills such as shopping, cleaning and cooking so staff can help residents live the best day possible.
Job Role: Support Worker
Location: Weston-super-Mare BS23
Hours: 20 per week
Salary: £13.20 – £13.90 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Day‑to‑day support and routine of the people we support.
- Promoting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying residents to routine appointments or administering medication.
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
- Assisting with personal care as required.
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
- Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
Experience within the care sector is not needed, as we offer full training, coaching and development.
