JOB ROLE: Wake Night Support Worker

LOCATION: Telford, TF1

SALARY: £14.05 - £14.75* per hour

HOURS: 24 hours per week

Shift times: 21:00 – 08:30

Working pattern: Wednesday and Thursday shifts, with the expectation of flexibility from Monday to Sunday to meet service delivery requirements when needed

Induction: Two weeks of day shifts will be required for induction into the service

Our support combines self-directed learning with enablement, social development and most importantly fun. At Glanmore we provide the right support to assist individuals in developing coping techniques which can make a noticeable difference in their everyday lives.

As a Wake Night Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring the individuals during the night to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Providing support when needed, including assisting with night-time care routines.
  • Responding to emergencies or incidents that may arise during the night.
  • Maintaining a calm and secure environment, helping to create a peaceful atmosphere for the individuals.
  • Assisting with light domestic tasks as required, such as tidying and cleaning communal areas.
  • Recording incidents or changes in the individuals' condition and ensuring accurate documentation is kept.
  • Working independently throughout the night, maintaining vigilance and attention to detail.

This role requires a calm, reliable, and responsible individual who can work effectively overnight to provide high-quality care and support.
