About Isfryn
Isfryn is situated between the village Ystylafera and the town of Ystradgynlais, in the beautiful Swansea valleys. Eight people live here, each with a brain injury; some also have a secondary mental health diagnosis.

- Role: Wake Night Support Worker
- Location: Isfryn, Ystradgynlais (SA9)
- Salary: £13.45 - £14.05* per hour
- Hours: 46.5 hours a week
Work Environment
Isfryn is a mostly calm environment, though it can be busy. Staff find it rewarding. The team supports people with daily personal needs and activities, including community outings to places such as church, cinema, pub, café and shopping. Transport links are limited on Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day support and routine of the people we support.
- Prompting independence while helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people to routine appointments or administering medication.
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
- Assisting with personal care as required.
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
- Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
