LOCATION: Swansea / Cwmllynfell (SA9)

PAY RATE: Β£14.05 – Β£14.75 per hour

NOTE ABOUT LOCATION: Due to our remote location, staff should ideally have access to a car as public transportation links are poor.

ABOUT RISEWOOD: Based in the village of Cwmllynfell, surrounded by the Brecon Beacons National Park. We employ four gentlemen with a variety of needs, including autism and learning disability. Rosewood offers a quiet and calm environment and is a rewarding place to work. The individuals enjoy outings to community activities such as cinema, bowling, eating out, and shopping.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide day‑to‑day support and routine for the people we support.
  • Promote independence while assisting them to live a fulfilling life.
  • Encourage the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintain and help with health care needs, including accompanying individuals to routine appointments or administering medication.
  • Teach life skills such as budgeting, paying bills, and shopping.
  • Assist with personal care as required.
  • Assist with domestic tasks, including cleaning and cooking.
  • Offer guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Dependent on experience and qualification.
