The predicted salary is between 13 - 14 £ per hour.

JOB ROLE: Support Worker

LOCATION: Swansea (SA1)

SALARY: £13.45 - £14.05 per hour

HOURS: 23.5 hours per week

Please note we require a Female Support Worker over the age of 18 due to a genuine occupational requirement for the people we are supporting, making this position exempt from the gender discrimination rule.

Essential Requirements:

  • Due to the needs of the people we support, we require a Welsh-speaking Support Worker.
  • Must be flexible works days and nights as and when needed.
  • Full UK License with a vehicle - preferable.

Our new Service will set a new benchmark for high-quality, person-centred care. Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
  • Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
  • Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
  • Assisting with personal care as required.
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
  • Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
