About Us
Our specialist Supported Living and Outreach service provides vital support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and acquired brain injuries. Many of our managers and team leaders started as Support Workers and have advanced through ongoing training and coaching.
Role Overview
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day support and routines of the individuals we serve.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
- Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
- Assisting with personal care as required.
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
- Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
Qualifications:
Experience in the care sector is not required; we provide comprehensive training. A strong enthusiasm and commitment to our company values is essential.
