About Oakley House

Oakley House is a residential service that supports up to 8 people with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health. We help people gain confidence, pursue their interests, and lead happy and fulfilled lives. Oakley House focuses on community integration and progression to supported living. The facility has 8 en‑suite bedrooms, an external studio flat, communal lounge, kitchen, dining area, and a therapeutic garden. It is within walking distance of St Neots town and close to transport links to Cambridge and Oxford.

Responsibilities

  • Day‑to‑day support and routine of the people we support.
  • Prompting independence while helping them live a fulfilling life.
  • Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintaining and helping with health‑care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments and administering medication.
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills, and shopping.
  • Assisting with personal care as required.
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
  • Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.

Qualifications

Experience within the care sector is not required, as full training, coaching, and development will be provided.
