JOB ROLE: Support Worker

HOURS: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week

LOCATION: Liskeard, Cornwall PL14

SALARY: £12.60 - £13.30* per week

About Our Service

We are recruiting for a support role in a single service for a young man living independently. He is sociable, attends community activities such as theatre, swimming, and gym, and enjoys cooking and maintaining a healthy diet. He takes pride in his home, which is close to amenities and transport links. Support includes 24/7 assistance with sleep-ins and flexible shifts. Our Supported Living and Outreach services in Liskeard support individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs, and Acquired Brain Injuries.

What You’ll Do as a Support Worker:

  • Provide daily support based on individual routines and needs
  • Promote independence and confidence
  • Support hobbies and community engagement
  • Assist with health needs, including medical appointments and medication
  • Teach life skills such as budgeting, shopping, and managing bills
  • Assist with domestic tasks like cooking and cleaning
  • Provide personal care when required
  • Offer ongoing emotional and physical support

No experience necessary – full training and development are provided.
