Overview

Join to apply for the Support Worker – Ffordd Newydd (SA10) role at Accomplish Group. This is a Waking Night Support Worker position at a residential transitional Mental Health service supporting six individuals in their own studio apartments. The role focuses on person-centered support to enable independence and improve health and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Prompt service users toward independence while helping them live a fulfilling life
  • Support and encourage development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
  • Maintain and assist with health care needs, including accompanying service users to routine appointments and administering medication
  • Teach life skills such as budgeting, paying bills, and shopping
  • Assist with personal care (dependent on service user)
  • Assist with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Dependent on experience and qualification
  • Over 18 due to the vulnerable nature of the people supported
  • Driver preferred; driving may be required for certain shifts or service user appointments
