Shifts: 07:00-19:30, 08:30-21:00, 21:00-08:30

At Rose Cottage we are dedicated to supporting 5 adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism. We provide people with the right support, which assists them in developing coping techniques, which make a noticeable difference to their everyday lives. We understand the importance of providing person-centred support which enables independence and meets individualβs specific needs. Through our outcomes focused approach, we support people to maintain choice and control of their own lives.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
- Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
- Assisting with personal care as required.
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
- Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
