Salary: £15.45 - £16.05 per hour (Level 5 Qualified: £15.95 – £16.55 per hour)

Hours: 35 hours per week

About Boston House: Boston House provides slow stream Neuro Rehabilitation for 17 adults who have complex needs following a brain injury. The role works in conjunction with a Neuro‑Therapy Team, assisting the people we support with their ongoing rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Care Home Manager in overall facility management, including staff management, resident care, and administrative tasks.
  • Assist in recruitment, training, and supervision of care staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Oversee assessment, care planning, and implementation of care plans for residents, ensuring their individual needs and preferences are met.
  • Monitor and evaluate quality of care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records, including resident files, staff rosters, and financial documents.
  • Act as point of contact for residents, families, and external stakeholders, addressing concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies, promoting a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff.
  • Participate in regular meetings and training sessions, contributing to continuous professional development of the team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the healthcare or social care sector.
  • Relevant qualification in health or social care (e.g., NVQ Level 3, Diploma in Health and Social Care).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating and inspiring a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including CQC standards.
  • IT proficiency, including experience with care management systems.
