About Byron Lodge
Byron Lodge is a 14-bed residential service in Manchester dedicated to supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). Our focus is on creating a positive and empowering environment that facilitates skill relearning while fostering full integration into the community.
Package Description
- JOB ROLE: Deputy Manager
- LOCATION: Blackley, Manchester (M9)
- SALARY: £12.60 - £13.30 per hour*
- HOURS: 34.5 hours OR 23 hours per week
- We also have bank positions available.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
- Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
- Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
- Encourage and motivate individuals to participate in community and everyday activities.
- Promote independence while offering reassurance and support.
- Work as part of a dedicated and compassionate team.
We will provide full training and ongoing support to ensure you are equipped to succeed in your role.
