About Byron Lodge

Byron Lodge is a 14-bed residential service in Manchester dedicated to supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). Our focus is on creating a positive and empowering environment that facilitates skill relearning while fostering full integration into the community.

Package Description

  • JOB ROLE: Deputy Manager
  • LOCATION: Blackley, Manchester (M9)
  • SALARY: £12.60 - £13.30 per hour*
  • HOURS: 34.5 hours OR 23 hours per week
  • We also have bank positions available.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
  • Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
  • Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
  • Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
  • Encourage and motivate individuals to participate in community and everyday activities.
  • Promote independence while offering reassurance and support.
  • Work as part of a dedicated and compassionate team.

We will provide full training and ongoing support to ensure you are equipped to succeed in your role.
