Job Role: Male Support Worker x 2 at Bryn Irfon (Llanwrtyd Wells, LD5).
Salary and Hours: £14.05 – £14.75 per hour. 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day‑to‑day support and routine for adults with learning disabilities, challenging needs, communication difficulties and mental health needs.
- Promote independence and assist with personal care as required.
- Support development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Assist with health‑care needs, including accompanying to routine appointments and administering medication.
- Teach life‑skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
- Assist with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
- Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Male, 18 years or older.
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
- Flexible working days and nights, and ability to work shift and sleep in shifts as required.
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities or related needs is desirable.
