Package Description
JOB ROLE: Learning Disabilities Support Worker
LOCATION: Coalville LE67
PAY RATE: £13.20 – £13.90* per hour
HOURS: 42 hours per week + 2 sleeps
SHIFTS: Set shifts on week 1 and week 2 rota
Drivers license preferred!
About Hugglescote
Hugglescote are a small 3-bed residential home supporting young adults with a range of learning disabilities ranging from Autism, ADHD and challenging behavior on 2-1 or 1-1 basis.
As a Support Worker, You Will Be Involved In The Day To Day Support And Routine Of The People Within The Service Including
- Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
- Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
- Assisting with personal care as required.
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
- Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
