The Haven in Haverfordwest provides specialist support for 14 adults with Mental Health needs, Acquired Brain Injuries, Learning Disabilities and Physical Health needs. We encourage and motivate each person to feel good about themselves and support them to gain confidence and do the things that are important to them, ultimately helping them lead happy and fulfilled lives. Every person supported at The Haven has a voice about what matters in their life and our support focuses on ensuring that voice is heard in every aspect of their life.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support and routine for the people we support.
- Promote independence while helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Support and encourage the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Assist with health care needs, including accompanying the people to routine appointments and administering medication.
- Teach life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
- Assist with personal care as required.
- Assist with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
- Provide guidance and support through physical and emotional encouragement.
