About The Role
Reporting into the Onboarding Lead, the Compliance Coordinator will play an integral role in ensuring that the mandatory compliance of our workforce is maintained as part of the wider resourcing function. The role will have a significant involvement in the full compliance of new starters, maintaining the final signatory for the approval of new starters entering the services and carrying out audits on each and every new starter file for Adult and Children’s Residential Services. The role will be a hybrid of both home and office working. It is anticipated that you will work from home 4 days per week, with 1 day per week based in our Halesowen Support Centre.
As an Internal Compliance Coordinator, You Will Be:
- Carrying out full file audits on all new starter files prior to commencement of employment
- Act as subject matter expert and take the lead in keeping the relevant teams up to date with the most recent legislative changes in immigration and right to work law
- Data entry of new starter and employee information onto HR database
- Manage a small onboarding pipeline alongside your new starter checks
To be successful as an Internal Compliance Coordinator, you will need:
- Demonstrable administration experience and extensive experience of onboarding new starters or maintaining employee information in this manner
- A sound understanding and knowledge of OFSTED, CQC and CIW mandatory requirements for employees or a willingness to develop your knowledge
- Previous experience of a high volume and fast paced working environment
- Excellent IT skills – you will be working from a variety of systems
- A team player but who is equally comfortable working from own initiative
- Understanding of GDPR and confidentiality
