Role: Support Worker
Location: Church Road, Ferndown (BH22)
Salary: £14.05 - £14.75 per hour*
Hours: 35 hours per week
Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required.
Requirements
- Gender and Age: Female, 18 years and older (genuine occupational requirement for the people we support).
- Work Experience: No prior care sector experience required – full training, coaching and development will be provided.
About Church Road
Church Road is a newly opened service providing accommodation and support for up to eight adults with acquired brain injuries or neurological conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide high standards of care and support in line with care and support plans.
- Encourage community relationships by promoting activities.
- Accurately report, record and maintain records as required.
- Liaise with health professionals and families.
- Complete supervisions and audits.
- Ensure all duties are performed to required standards, contributing to a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere.
Qualifications
Experience within the care sector is not required; comprehensive training and ongoing coaching will be provided.
