Role: Support Worker

Location: Church Road, Ferndown (BH22)

Salary: £14.05 - £14.75 per hour*

Hours: 35 hours per week

Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required.

Requirements

  • Gender and Age: Female, 18 years and older (genuine occupational requirement for the people we support).
  • Work Experience: No prior care sector experience required – full training, coaching and development will be provided.

About Church Road

Church Road is a newly opened service providing accommodation and support for up to eight adults with acquired brain injuries or neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high standards of care and support in line with care and support plans.
  • Encourage community relationships by promoting activities.
  • Accurately report, record and maintain records as required.
  • Liaise with health professionals and families.
  • Complete supervisions and audits.
  • Ensure all duties are performed to required standards, contributing to a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere.

Qualifications

Experience within the care sector is not required; comprehensive training and ongoing coaching will be provided.
