ROLE: Female Support Worker x 2
LOCATION: Winsford
SALARY: £12.60 - £13.30
HOURS: 40 hours a week
SHIFTS: 8:00am to 10:00pm
Full and Clean UK/EU Driving License with access to a vehicle is essential.
Please note we require a Female Support Worker over the age of 18 due to a genuine occupational requirement for the people we are supporting making this position exempt from the gender discrimination rule.
About Cheshire Supported Living
Our specialist Supported Living and Outreach service in Cheshire and Manchester provides support for people with Mental Health needs, Autism, Learning Disabilities and Acquired Brain Injuries.
As a Support Worker, You Will Be Involved In The Day To Day Support And Routine Of The People Within The Service Including:
- Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
- Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
- Assisting with personal care as required.
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
- Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development.
