JOB ROLE: Female Support Worker
LOCATION: Coalville LE67
PAY RATE: £13.20 - £13.90* per hour
HOURS: 35 hours per week
SHIFTS: 08:00-15:00 / 15:00-22:00 / 08:00-22:00 / 22:00 - 08:00
Please note we require a Female Support Worker over the age of 18 due to a genuine occupational requirement for the people we are supporting making this position exempt from the gender discrimination rule.
About Hugglescote
Hugglescote is a small 3-bed residential home supporting young adults with a range of learning disabilities including Autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour on a 2-1 or 1-1 basis. Responsibilities
- Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
- Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
- Assisting with personal care as required.
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
- Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
