ROLE: Female Support Worker

HOURS: 37.5 per week

LOCATION: Beaconsfield (HP9)

SALARY: £13.45 - £14.05* per hour

REQUIREMENTS: Full UK Manual Driving License - Essential

Please note we require a Female Support Worker due to a genuine occupational requirement for the person we are supporting, making this position exempt from the gender discrimination rule.

Our specialist Supported Living and Outreach services in Beaconsfield provide support for people with Learning Disabilities. We understand the importance of providing person‑centred support that enables independence and meets each individual’s needs.

Responsibilities

  • Promoting and delivering a person‑centred support culture across the service
  • Supporting people with all aspects of their daily living as per their support plan, including personal care and taking medication
  • Supporting and coaching people to learn independent living skills like cooking and laundry tasks
  • Supporting people to access the community for social, educational or employment opportunities
  • Safeguarding service users’ rights and dignity
  • Taking an active role in people’s support plans and risk assessments
  • Providing effective communication within the team and attending regular team meetings
