About Thompson Court

Thompson Court has three en-suite bedrooms, lounge, dining room and kitchen. Though situated on a busy road in Canton, the service benefits from a quiet garden area at the rear of the property and a conservatory where people can socialise. We are within walking distance of Cardiff City Centre and local amenities, including the Museum at St Fagans and sports facilities that the people we support visit regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Day‑to‑day support and routine of the people we support
  • Promote independence while helping them live a fulfilling life
  • Support and encourage the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
  • Assist with health care needs, including accompanying appointments and administering medication
  • Teach life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping
  • Assist with personal care as required
  • Assist with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking
  • Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support

Qualifications and Training

Experience within the care sector is not required. Full training, coaching and development will be provided. Applicants must be over 18 years of age.
