JOB ROLE: Support Worker

LOCATION: Cardiff Supported Living - Positions available in Cardiff.

HOURS: Full time

SALARY: £12.60 - £13.30* per hour

Please note, candidates must hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence and Access to own Vehicle to be considered.

As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in helping people develop life skills, engage in their communities, and pursue education and employment opportunities. Our Cardiff team provides personalized support tailored to each individual — whether that’s 24‑hour care, overnight assistance, or bespoke packages. You’ll work in a variety of settings, including shared houses, individual flats, and family homes, supporting people to manage their own tenancies and daily lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Day‑to‑day support and routine of the people we support.
  • Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
  • Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
  • Assisting with personal care as required.
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
  • Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

Experience within the care sector is not essential as we offer full training; however, what you do need is the enthusiasm and commitment to live our company values every day to ensure we move mountains to support people to live happy and healthy lives.
