FLT Counterbalance Driver

Counter Balance / Side Loader Driver

Unity Personnel is partnering with a client to hire a FLT Counter Balance / Side Loader Driver based at Cross Green Industrial Estate. A valid in-date Counter Balance or Side Loader licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the machine, load with material, offload finished product and sort into different plots.
• Pick, pack, unload raw materials, and load finished jobs and picked pallets.
• Move products around the site using a side loader.
• Liaise with the Production Manager to ensure targets are met.
• Use initiative and manage own workload.
• Attention to detail to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping; keep the work area clean, tidy and free of hazards.
• Fill out relevant paperwork.

Person Profile

• Valid in-date licence.
• Good communication, numeracy and literacy.
• Able to work in a fast‑paced environment at times.

Hours of work

6:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

Salary

£12.59 per hour.
