Operations Coordinator (Part-Time)

Location: Applicants should ideally be based anywhere between Barrow-in-Furness and Workington.

Salary: £15,000 per annum.

Approximately 20–24 hours per week on a fixed 3-week rolling rota, including just one weekend in every three.

Generous leave entitlement.

Full UK driving licence and own vehicle essential.

Accommodation Cumbria is expanding, and we're looking for three enthusiastic and motivated Operations Coordinators to join our friendly team. We manage a growing portfolio of high-quality serviced accommodation across Cumbria, providing exceptional stays for contractors, business travellers and holiday makers, while delivering a completely hands-off management service for our landlords.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. If you enjoy being organised, solving problems, working independently and making a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As an Operations Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our properties are maintained to the highest standards while helping us continue to grow our business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Property Operations
    • Ordering and managing property stock, linen and consumables.
    • Carrying out regular property inspections and quality assurance checks.
    • Coordinating cleaning teams and managing linen schedules.
    • Checking completed cleans to ensure every property is guest-ready.
    • Managing maintenance jobs from initial report through to completion.
    • Liaising with contractors and sourcing quotations for repairs and improvement works.
    • Assisting with new property set-ups, furnishing and staging.
    • Producing guest welcome packs and property instruction manuals.
  • Business Development & Sales
    • Managing and updating online property listings.
    • Contacting current and prospective guests to encourage repeat and direct bookings.
    • Identifying new booking opportunities and helping maximise occupancy.
    • Identifying opportunities to grow our management portfolio.
    • Carrying out property viewings.
    • Meeting with prospective landlords to discuss our management services.
    • Preparing bespoke property management proposals.
  • Marketing
    • Creating engaging social media content to promote our properties and services.
  • General Operations
    • Supporting the wider team with day-to-day operational tasks.
    • Building strong relationships with guests, landlords, contractors and suppliers.
    • Helping us continually improve our systems, standards and customer experience.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

Experience in property management, hospitality, estate agency, customer service, sales or marketing would be an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Own vehicle.
  • Ability to travel between properties across Cumbria.
  • Based between Barrow-in-Furness and Workington.
  • Able to work a fixed 3-week rolling rota, including one weekend in every three.
  • Business mileage will be reimbursed.
