We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Senior Tenancy Support Worker to join our team, overseeing the delivery of our Supported Accommodation service. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping individuals build the skills required to sustain their own tenancy, foster independence, and connect them with community resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Tenancy Support Workers (TSWs), providing guidance, support, and case management to ensure a high-quality, person-centered support service.
  • Coordinate the Supported Accommodation placements and conduct comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Work closely with clients, assisting them with tenancy-related matters, financial management, and access to services.
  • Liaise with external agencies to deliver well-rounded support for clients with complex needs, including mental health challenges.
  • Contribute to service compliance, ensuring adherence to policies, health and safety standards, and landlord responsibilities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in supported accommodation or related services and managing or supervising staff.
  • Strong understanding of complex issues like mental health, substance misuse, and housing support.
  • Excellent communication, crisis intervention, and de-escalation skills.
  • Adaptability, patience, and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using case management systems and Microsoft Office.
