About the role
As a Pricing and Promotion Analyst, you will provide a proactive and varied support role to Account Managers and the wider finance team to ensure accurate promotional and pricing information is reflected in the system. You will also be involved in the maintenance of accruals and resolution of price or promotional claims. The role will suit someone with a passion for finance and a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills, drive, and attention to detail are the key skills to be successful in this role as well as a desire to be part of a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting Account Managers with the setup, maintenance and analysis of promotional accruals.
- Verify, challenge and monitor promotional spend in order to maintain accurate promotional accruals.
- Organise and conduct regular reviews with Account Managers/Finance Business Partners to ensure all company promotional liabilities are recorded.
- Act as a business contact for promotional invoices.
- Identify, validate and process promotional invoices to customers ensuring they are paid on time.
- Resolution of price and other customer claims to reduce deductions and maintain healthy cash flow.
- Setting up and ensuring accurate customer price files are reflected in the system.
- Input into promotional and pricing processes, ensuring they meet company requirements, or provide feedback/ideas for improvements.
- Assisting with the delivery of required information for audit compliance.
- Reviewing SGA spend each month and completing other ad hoc month end requests.
