ibis Styles London Southwark is a stylish and affordable hotel in the heart of London’s Southwark neighbourhood, just a short walk from London Bridge, Borough Market, and the Southbank. The Night Auditor welcomes all guests and takes care of them from arrival through to departure. They contribute to guest satisfaction by providing high quality services with a warm and friendly approach. They ensure a smooth and secure environment for all guests during the night.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all guests are attended to promptly and efficiently in the most professional way and without delay.
  • Checking that details of regular guests are updated using Guest History.
  • Ensuring all diary events, flags and specials are actioned.
  • Checking and passing on all guest mail, messages and parcels promptly.
  • To liaise closely with Housekeeping on information relating to rooms and lost property.
  • Ensuring guest registration forms are completed correctly, then the computer is updated accordingly.
  • Ensuring all account postings are accurate and necessary paperwork produced.
  • Ensuring an accurate cashiering balance is performed at the completion of shifts.
  • Completing all audit tasks as specified by the Night Auditor's checklist.
  • Performing any other duties within the employee’s range of competence as required by management.

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Great organisational and administration skills.
  • Ability to work as part of the Night Reception Team providing an efficient, effective and attentive service to all guests.
  • Strong communication skills and a pro‑active approach to work.
  • Ensuring that guests are completely satisfied at every stage of their stay, from check‑in to check‑out.
  • Working closely with the Night Team Leader to produce reports, monitoring results and auditing controls in place.
  • Ideally have a good knowledge of Opera.
  • Right to work in UK.
