We're looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Maintenance Team Member to join our team on a part-time basis in Brighton, United Kingdom. In this role, you'll play a vital part in keeping our facilities running smoothly and safely. You'll work collaboratively with our maintenance team and external contractors to ensure all building systems, equipment, and assets are well-maintained and functioning optimally.   • Undertake and manage various general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, telecommunications, heating systems, carpentry, and decorating.
  • Conduct routine inspections of premises, equipment, and assets to identify maintenance needs and perform both reactive and preventive maintenance.
  • Install, inspect, and troubleshoot equipment, appliances, and building systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform basic repairs and maintenance work with minimal disruption to occupants and visitors.
  • Maintain and replace heating, air conditioning, and distribution systems as required.
  • Coordinate and oversee external contractors and service providers, ensuring they adhere to service agreements and organizational procedures.
  • Maintain detailed records and daily logs of all repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment status.
  • Actively contribute to workplace safety by ensuring emergency exits remain clear and identifying potential hazards.
  • Champion environmental sustainability initiatives, including energy conservation, recycling, and waste management practices.
  • Comply with health and safety directives, including Legionnaires' disease prevention protocols.
  • Report stock levels and maintenance supply requirements to management.
