We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team in London, United Kingdom. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth overnight operations and maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a dynamic hospitality environment and possess strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Perform end-of-day accounting procedures, including balancing daily transactions and preparing overnight reports.
- Verify and reconcile guest accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during check-ins, check-outs, and throughout the night shift.
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and problem-solving to ensure a positive experience.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for both guests and employees.
- Generate and distribute various financial and operational reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to address any guest-related issues or concerns.
- Monitor and update room inventory and availability.
- Handle credit card transactions and other forms of payment accurately.
- Perform additional front desk duties as needed during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service orientation with a guest-focused approach.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., OPERA Cloud) and Microsoft Excel.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic accounting knowledge and ability to handle financial transactions accurately.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in the absence of daytime management.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of hotel operations and front desk procedures.
