As our next Commis Chef, you will play an important role in supporting the kitchen team to deliver quality food consistently and efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will:

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes to agreed brand and company standards
  • Ensure all mise-en-place is prepared and ready for service
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation and hygiene across all kitchen areas
  • Follow food safety procedures from storage through to preparation and service
  • Support the Chef team during breakfast, lunch, dinner and event service
  • Help with stock rotation, deliveries and storage procedures
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a great guest experience
  • Carry out any additional kitchen duties as requested by senior chefs or management

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about food. You should ideally have:

  • Previous kitchen experience in a hotel, restaurant or catering environment (preferred but not essential)
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good understanding of food hygiene and safe working practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction

Food Safety Level 2 certification is desirable, but training can be provided.
