Working with the Sales team, Acclaim Handling is a successful and growing independent Forklift Distributor in the UK. Our business is focused around the hire, sale and maintenance of Forklift Trucks and other Mechanical Handling Equipment. Acclaim Handling has been a key supplier of forklifts and Material Handling equipment since the company was founded in 1982 as a specialist Materials Handling service provider with a focus on servicing, hire, sales, and leasing. Today, Acclaim has grown from its original headquarters in Purfleet, Essex, to an award-winning national company with eight regional support centres. We’re proud suppliers to an extensive list of distinguished customers across the UK and Ireland.
A position has arisen at our Liverpool depot as an Area Sales Manager working 40 hours per week.
Position Description:
Join Our Expanding Sales Team at Acclaim Handling! Are you a driven and ambitious sales professional looking for a new challenge? Acclaim Handling, a trusted name in the material handling industry for over 43 years, is expanding! We specialise in the supply, hire, and servicing of forklifts, and we are looking to grow our vibrant sales team with multiple opportunities available across four of our eight regional centres: Liverpool, Reading, Rugby.
The Role:
As part of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our comprehensive range of new and used forklifts, as well as rental and service packages. Whether you’re an industry expert or a talented sales professional looking for a fresh challenge, we want to hear from you!

- Dynamic, self-motivated individuals with a passion for sales
- A proven track record in sales—material handling experience is an advantage but not essential
