The Procurement Administrator will support the procurement function for the Coppermills WTW in London (E17), ensuring the timely sourcing of materials, equipment and services in accordance with ACCIONA internal procurement, compliance and supplier homologation procedures. The role is execution-focused, with progressive exposure to procurement processes, supplier management and commercial evaluations, under close supervision.

Job Description

Procurement Operations

  • Support the end-to-end procurement cycle, including:
    • Purchase requisitions
    • RFQs and tender processes
    • Purchase order creation
    • Delivery tracking and follow-up
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of RFQ and tender documentation

Supplier Management

  • Identify and propose suitable suppliers aligned with project needs and procurement strategy
  • Conduct supplier registration and homologation processes, ensuring:
    • Compliance with internal procedures
    • Completion and validation of required documentation (legal, financial, H&S, sustainability, ethics)
  • Maintain and update approved supplier databases

Commercial & Administrative Support

  • Perform commercial comparisons of supplier quotations (price, lead time, compliance)
  • Support day-to-day supplier communications and coordination
  • Track orders to ensure delivery aligns with project schedules
  • Maintain accurate procurement records within ERP/procurement systems
  • Assist with invoice verification and approval workflows
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Degree (or final year student) in:
    • Business Administration
    • Supply Chain / Logistics
    • Engineering
    • Quantity Surveying
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, buying, commercial or project support roles.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
Desirable / Valued
  • Previous internship or placement in Construction/infrastructure or Utilities/water/energy
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar).
  • Interest in structured environments, compliance and regulated sectors.
  • Spanish language knowledge (written and/or spoken) – valued for coordination with HQ and international suppliers.
