Looking for a highly experienced level 3 network/security engineer responsible for the smooth operation of all network and security infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Working with providers on major incidents and follow up problems records.
- Working on major network projects in a consultancy/advisory capacity.
- Providing general advice to our customers on network/security related matters.
- Technical design reviews and solutioning.
- Change review, approval and CAB attendance.
Support of major upcoming Projects:
- Global review of network services.
- Office LAN/WiFi refresh.
- Data centre migration.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Zscaler
- Palo Alto firewalls
- Check Point firewalls
- Cisco ASA firewalls
- Cisco switching and routing (inc ACI)
- Juniper switching and routing and Juniper MIST managed environments
- Cisco ISE
- Cisco WiFi
- F5 LTM / GTM
- WAN technologies, MPLS / SDWAN / SASE
- Azure and AWS networking
- Highly proficient in technical troubleshooting, expertise in packet analysis (Wireshark)
- Network monitoring tools e.g. SolarWinds
