Accessorize Glasgow Airport is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Supervisor to join our team and create memorable customer experiences.

For over 30 years, Accessorize airport stores have been the go-to destination for holidaymakers looking for those perfect finishing touches before take-off. From jewellery and hair accessories to handbags, travel essentials and seasonal must-haves, our collections are designed in-house at our Notting Hill studio or ethically sourced from around the world before arriving in our stores.

In this role you will:

  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, creating memorable shopping experiences for every customer before they travel.
  • Drive sales performance by identifying opportunities, promoting add-on purchases, and inspiring the team to maximise every customer interaction.
  • Ensure the store looks fabulous through your visual merchandising expertise, maintaining high standards at all times.
  • Help deliver a smooth and efficient operation by effectively managing priorities, supporting daily planning, and adapting to the demands of a busy airport environment.
  • Coach, motivate and guide the team to build confidence, strengthen product knowledge and ensure every customer enjoys a seamless shopping journey.
  • Welcome new starters, foster an inclusive and positive team culture, and support colleagues to develop and grow in their roles.
  • Use in-store systems confidently to support excellent customer service and efficient store operations (don't worry, we'll train you).

  • Experience within a supervisor or key holding role (preferably within travel retail).
  • Confidence to lead by example & inspire your team to deliver exceptional service.

  • Someone who demonstrates passion, drive and resilience, with a can do approach.
  • The ability to communicate openly and effectively with your team and customers.

Your Working Hours

You'll work your contracted hours each week, with shifts scheduled across our trading week from Sunday to Saturday. As an airport store, flexibility is key. You may also be asked to support neighbouring stores and wider teams when required. We understand that everyone has commitments outside of work, so if you have specific availability or preferences, talk to us - we'll always do our best to accommodate where possible.

Important Information

This role is based at Glasgow Airport. Due to airport security requirements, all applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 years or over.
  • Be able to work a variety of shifts across the airport's operating hours (03:45am - 20:00pm).
  • Be eligible to complete and pass the required pre-employment checks.

As part of the recruitment process, successful candidates will be required to complete:

  • A Basic Criminal Record Check (CRC).
  • A DBS check.
  • Airport security clearance checks.
  • Verification of a full five-year employment, education and/or activity history prior to employment.
