What will you be doing as a Digital Business Analyst?

  • Work with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Produce user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to translate business needs into actionable solutions, supporting end-to-end design beyond the digital platform.
  • Participate actively in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Support end-to-end testing efforts, including system testing, UAT coordination, and hands-on testing.
  • Track and help resolve issues during release cycles.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for platform features, changes, and workflows.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of ecommerce and customer-facing systems.
  • Provide cover for out of hours incidents shared with the rest of the team members on the digital rota.

Leadership

  • Positively represent the technology function alongside internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Create a culture of honesty, accountability and engagement within the function ensuring everyone is treated with respect.

What will you need to succeed as a Digital Business Analyst?

  • 2-3 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Digital Analyst, or similar role.
  • Exposure to ecommerce platforms, ideally Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) or similar (e.g. Shopify Plus, Magento, Adobe Commerce).
  • Good understanding of agile delivery processes and tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence).
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.
  • Willingness to take part in hands‑on testing and release validation.
  • Curiosity and empathy for the customer journey and digital experience.

Desirable

  • Experience working in a retail or consumer‑facing business.
  • Familiarity with CRM or order management system integrations.
