Accession Therapeutics Limited, a vibrant clinical-phase company based on the ARC Oxford site, is looking for a Senior Scientist to join the Process Development section of its CMC group; this is a fixed-term (12 months) post to cover a period of maternity leave.
We are looking for candidates who are able to:
- Support the company's ATMP/biologics process development (downstream) capabilities
- Support the placement and maintenance of programmes currently with or transferring to Contract Development Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs) in compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements
- Support the development of platform-based research programmes into CMC operations
- Contribute towards the CMC sections of regulatory and Quality documents
- Prepare internal/external technical reports and oral presentations
Candidates should have:
- A degree/or higher degree in a relevant scientific discipline or 5+ years’ experience in a broad bio-pharmaceutical process development environment with emphasis on the hands-on downstream process, supporting clinical development programmes
- Experience in the development of upstream processing principles
- Understanding of cGMP manufacturing requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively - and autonomously - in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent inter-personal skills (good written and oral communication)
