We give disabled people, carers, and anyone who needs to know about accessibility the detailed information they need to work out if a place is going to be accessible to them. AccessAble's Detailed Access Guides tell you all about a venue's access - hotels and guest houses, places to eat and drink, places to visit and much more. Users can check out access information for 70,000 venues across the UK and Ireland before they leave home or on the move using AccessAble's website.

AccessAble Consultancy was established five years ago in response to growing demand from AccessAble's existing partners for deeper insight and more strategic support around their developments. Building on AccessAble's long-standing expertise in accessibility information, the consultancy was created to help organisations move beyond understanding access at a venue level and towards embedding inclusive thinking across buildings, services and future plans. Today, the team works with clients across sectors to provide clear, practical and evidence-based advice, drawing on extensive access data, inclusive design expertise and a shared commitment to creating more accessible environments for disabled people.

We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Inclusive Design Consultant to join our team, supporting the delivery of impactful and practical access consultancy services across a wide range of projects. You will work collaboratively with clients and colleagues, combining site visits with report writing and advisory work, while also mentoring others within the team. If you have the skills and experience outlined and are passionate about inclusive design, we would love to hear from you.

You will bring strong communication and client-facing skills, the ability to manage your own workload and priorities effectively, and a high level of attention to detail in report writing and technical review. A copy of a recent written report, for example, an access audit or design review.

AccessAble actively encourages applications from people with lived experience of disability and is committed to offering disabled people an interview if they meet the minimum (essential) criteria for any advertised role.

You can contact us via email, telephone (01438 842 710) or textphone (07897 023 494).
