  • Your role is to provide safe, respectful, person-centered support in people’s homes, including being mindful of what matters to them, their culture, values, beliefs, routines, and boundaries.
  • You’ll support tāngata with their individual care needs and daily living activities. No qualifications or prior experience are required.
  • Comprehensive paid training to set you up for your future
  • This role offers flexible hours, plenty of weekend shifts ($1.00 extra per hour), and the chance to gain valuable experience in the health and wellbeing sector.
  • Paid travel time and mileage —When you travel for work, we make sure you’re compensated fairly — including paid travel time and mileage for longer trips. Full details will be shared during onboarding.

Paid training! Our Kaiāwhina Skills Framework training takes place during your first two–four weeks of employment and includes:

  • Support through structured induction, ongoing training, refreshers, and clear development pathways.
  • Online self-directed learning
  • Working alongside a buddy trainer
