About you: You’re someone who builds strong, trusted relationships and enjoys working at a strategic level. You like understanding the challenges local authorities face and helping them get lasting value from technology. You’re commercially aware without being transactional, and you focus on long‑term partnerships rather than short‑term wins. You’re confident managing your own accounts, working remotely, and collaborating with teams across Access to deliver a consistent customer experience across the UK.
Day to day, you will:
- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic UK local authority customers, building long‑term, senior‑level relationships.
- Create and lead account plans that reflect customer priorities, budget cycles and transformation goals.
- Manage renewals and commercial conversations, clearly setting out value and identifying growth opportunities.
- Work with customer success and specialist teams to support adoption and maintain strong customer relationships.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
- Experience working with or selling into UK local government or public sector organisations.
- Confidence presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders, including directors and executive teams.
- Experience with software or Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions and value‑based selling.
- An understanding of social care, commissioning or complex public sector services.
