About you: You’re calm under pressure and confident making decisions when things get busy. You build strong relationships and communicate clearly with people at every level. You care about customers and balance their needs with keeping services running smoothly. You’re curious, open to learning, and enjoy exploring new tools and technologies like artificial intelligence to help improve how things are done.
Taking full ownership of the Risk and Resilience processes, you will work with the Head of Quality, Risk and Compliance to ensure that divisionally and centralised focused processes are suitable for our stakeholder expectations and related ISO Management Systems (ISO22301 and ISO20000).
Day to day, you will:
- Lead and improve how we manage major incidents, making sure we respond quickly and learn from every event.
- Own our disaster recovery plans, working with Product, Engineering and Cloud Hosting teams to make sure they meet recovery targets and keep data safe.
- Guide our approach to risk, resilience and compliance, supporting our work with standards such as ISO22301 and ISO20000.
- Help build a strong culture of risk awareness across Health and Social Care by supporting, educating and engaging teams.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
- Experience in managing risk, resilience, continuity or incident processes across large teams.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT).
- Knowledge of international standards covering resilience, risk and information security, including ISO22301, ISO20000, ISO31000 and ISO27001.
- Experience in health or care settings, including clinical safety practices or data protection.
