About you:

The Group Balance Sheet and NWC Analyst supports analysis, improvement, and insight into net working capital and cash flow for our global group. The role involves working with the Group Balance Sheet and NWC Manager to deliver monthly consolidations, enhance and project balance sheet and cash flow reporting, and provide Board-level analysis to explain trends.

You will also identify and support net working capital improvement initiatives, collaborating with Commercial and Operational finance, Treasury, and other parts of the business. This role reports to the Group Balance Sheet and NWC Manager and works closely with the Group Finance Manager and Group Financial Controller, supporting initiatives to deliver better insights to our CFO, Board, and PE sponsors. Clear communication, presentation skills, and the ability to distill key messages are essential.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  1. Managing Group Balance Sheet Consolidation and overseeing month-end submissions.
  2. Maintaining and updating financial models for Balance Sheet and Cashflow Forecasting.
  3. Supporting monthly net working capital and cash flow analysis, developing KPIs.
  4. Identifying risks related to liquidity and working capital inefficiencies and developing improvement plans.
  5. Recommending process improvements to optimize working capital.
  6. Coordinating with finance stakeholders to ensure accurate cash flow forecasts.
  7. Supporting operational cash flow insights, including future KPI impacts.

Skills and experience desired:

  • Qualified Accountant.
  • Experience managing working capital and developing insightful analysis for executive audiences.
  • Financial modelling experience is a plus.
  • Background in banking or leveraged finance (private equity).
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
  • Enthusiastic attitude with a desire to improve and innovate.
  • Ability to work independently and identify process improvements.
