- Deliver engaging practical and theory-based gas training to adult learners, typically in groups of 8-12.
- Deliver training across relevant domestic gas systems, appliances, controls and safe working practices.
- Support learners in developing the practical skills, technical knowledge and confidence required to work safely and competently within the gas industry.
- Prepare learners for practical assessments and relevant industry qualifications.
- Demonstrate industry-standard working practices and ensure learners understand current gas safety requirements.
- Provide constructive feedback, coaching and additional support where required.
- Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate training and assessment records.
- Maintain a safe, professional and supportive learning environment.
- Support delivery at our Bristol training centre when required.
- Are you a fully qualified Gas Engineer with current ACS certifications and at least two years of post-qualification experience?, Fully qualified Gas Engineer.
- Current relevant ACS qualifications.
- At least two years of post-certification industry experience.
- Strong practical experience working within the domestic gas industry.
- Excellent technical knowledge and a strong commitment to gas safety and industry standards.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to explain technical subjects clearly.
- A genuine interest in developing, mentoring and supporting learners.
- Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience would be advantageous but not essential, as training and support can be provided.
- A recognised assessor qualification, such as TAQA, A1 or equivalent, would also be desirable
- Salary of between £35,000-£48,000, depending on experience.
- 32 days' annual leave, including bank holidays.
